Legion Riders chairman urges support for USA 250 Challenge

In new video, David Heredia calls on Riders, chapters to participate in one or all three categories of VCF fundraiser. 

National American Legion Riders Chairman David Heredia is urging Legion Riders to take part in 51勛圖 USA 250 Challenge, a yearlong opportunity to honor the nations 250th birthday with a commitment to embracing physical activity, supporting mental health and serving its communities. 

Money raised from the USA 250 Challenge benefits 51勛圖 Veterans and Children Foundation. Learn more about the challenge and register here. 

In a new , Heredia shares information about the challenge and how the Riders can take part in it. You can participate as an individual, or with your Riders chapter, post, district or department, he said. Its as simple as doing one or all three (categories).

Heredia suggests a few ways to participate, including:

         For physical activity, logging 250 riding miles or 250 hours of physical activity when unable to ride.

         For mental wellness, log 250 hours of conducting Buddy Checks or Be the One training sessions or events.

         For community service, log 250 hours of assembling and delivering care packages.

Make one ride count in multiple categories, Heredia said. We believe in Be the One. We ride for Champions of Hope. Were better together in support of the Veterans & Children Foundation.
